The group is composed of vocalist Oliver Sykes, guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean and drummer Matt Nicholls. Since its inception, the band has experienced a notable evolution in its musical style, going from deathcore in its first works to a more accessible and melodic sound.

There Is a Heaven Let’s Keep It a Secret.” (2010) continued their experimentation, integrating electronic and orchestral elements.

The release of “Sempiternal” (2013) was a turning point, with the addition of Jordan Fish and a turn towards a more accessible sound that appealed to a wider audience. This album includes hits like Can You Feel My Heart and Sleepwalkingcementing the band in the modern rock scene.

In 2015, “That’s the Spirit” consolidated its commercial success, exploring more introspective and personal themes. Later, “amo” (2019) demonstrated its versatility by incorporating elements of pop and electronic music.
