From July 1, Prime Video customers will be able to subscribe to SkyShowtime from Prime Video itself and watch its content from this. Although the price will be the same as when doing it independently, 7.99 euros per month, it will be launched with a 50% off discount for three months in the exclusive two-week welcome offer during Prime Day.

SkyShowtime and Prime Video join forces

SkyShowtime will be available through Prime Video Channels in Spain from next July 1. This will make it possible to access the platform without having to install the SkyShowtime app itself. Prime Video customers will be able to access OTT more quickly, and thus “unite” their content with Prime Video’s own.

However, the most interesting thing is that, if you subscribe through Prime Video, You will get a 50% discount for the first three months. After the price increase in April, SkyShowtime’s Standard Plus costs 7.99 euros per month, but it will be half temporarily through a subscription through the Amazon platform. Those interested in the discount must subscribe during Prime Day, held this year between July 16 and 17.

What to watch on SkyShowtime? In this article we leave you all the movies, series, documentaries and programs on the platform, but, as a summary, we anticipate that you will be able to watch from the famous series ‘Yellowstone’ and its spin-offs ‘1883’ and ‘1923’to others SkyShowtime original series —such as ‘Los Pelotaris 1926’, ‘The Sent Ones’ (S1-S2) and ‘Lies Pasajeras’— and memorable titlesamong which are:

  • ‘A gentleman in Moscow’
  • ‘An unexpected setback’
  • ‘Talks’
  • ‘HALO’ (S1-22)
  • ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ (S3)
  • ‘Paw Patrol: The Super Movie’
  • ‘Mission: Impossible – Mortal Sentence’
  • ‘Oppenheimer’
  • ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ (S1-5)
  • ‘Trolls 3: All Together’

In this way, SkyShowtime will land on Prime on July 1, although Spain will not be the only country where platforms coexist, since in the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden they will also do so, but later. This is a Prime Video strategy similar to the one he carried out with Max, which he integrated in the same way.
