The Bogotá actor Camilo Saénz became the first eliminated from the sixth season of Masterchef Celebrity. Saénz, known for his love of cooking, was unable to dazzle the judges with his beef tartare dish, leading him to drop out of the competition.

Following her elimination, there were multiple comments about her participation and attitude on the show. In response, Saénz took to social media to address the issue and expressed her gratitude towards the judges and her fellow contestants, and acknowledged having done the best she could: “I tried to do the best I could. I just have gratitude for all the people on the show, the judges, colleaguesClaudia Bahamón and thanks to everyone who accompanied me,” said Saénz.
The actor also pointed out that not everything that happens during the competition is always seen on screen: “What is experienced every day there is not what is possible to get out,” She stressed in her statements, adding that she received the negative comments in the best way possible. Saénz said: “To the people who sent bad vibes, everything is fine. It is also well received, they teach me things. It was a great experience and it is something that I will take with me for the rest of my life.”
The negative comments towards the actor also arose due to attitudes that some considered derogatory towards his former partner Franko Bonilla, a point in which Saénz also apologized: “We learn from mistakes, I apologize if I offended and bothered anyone, it was not my intention, hugs, kisses and blessings for everyone,” he mentioned.
