“I had never talked about this before. Yes, I had a very complex experience, but I got through it. Fortunately, it didn’t take long. It could have been long. I think my inner strength was what finally took me out and told me, it’s this way,” Zivic confessed.
The actress acknowledged that, in critical moments, she was lucky to have people who supported her unconditionally, whom she called angels. These people were not only by her side in difficult times, but they also helped her understand that the situation could improve.
“I had a little angel who appeared to me and told me: ‘it’s not that way’. I remember it was a doctor who told me: ‘Geraldine, you don’t need that, you don’t need to take those things and that’s when an exploration began within me’,” the actress recounted. He assured that he greatly values each stage of his life, especially those that have allowed him to seek and find his own well-being.
Geraldine Zivic said that the symptoms she experienced were intense and difficult to handle: “I don’t wish it on anyone because it is truly a desperate situation that you cannot imagine and you think it is happening to someone else and not to you,” said the actress.
Thanks to the support of her loved ones, friends and doctors, Geraldine managed to overcome this difficult period. However, she also clarified that, although she did take medication at one point, she resisted continuing to use it. For her, effective healing involved treating her soul, mind and body from within.
“I am a standard-bearer who believes that there are other ways of facing and treating human beings. “There are other methods than giving the body something chemical to solve something that is ultimately not chemical,” Zivic said. The actress strongly defended the use of alternative methods to pharmacological treatment, and insisted on the importance of seeking more comprehensive and natural solutions.
