Corinne Foxx, the daughter of Jamie Foxxhas shared encouraging news about her father’s health following the medical emergency he suffered in April 2023. During the filming of the Netflix movie, Back In Actionthe actor was hospitalized due to a health problem whose details have not yet been revealed.

In statements to Entertainment Tonightthe young actress stated: “He is doing great, he is doing incredible.”

The Oscar winner recently returned to work on the game show Beat Shazamwhere she shares the driving duties with her first-born daughter. Regarding this, Corinne said: “I am very grateful to be able to work alongside him. and spend so much time by his side.”

Additionally, Foxx has returned to the set of Back In Action. In January, she was seen filming scenes alongside her co-star, Cameron Diazshowing a satisfactory recovery that has allowed him to continue with his work commitments.

As for his personal life, his daughter shared an interesting detail: “He’s playing a lot of pickleball! That man and pickleball; it’s like he plays twice a day, every day. It’s a whole deal. He’s completely into it.”

In August of last year, Foxx took to Instagram to thank his fans for their support during his recovery, showing gratitude and optimism for the future.

“You are seeing a man who is grateful… I am finally starting to feel like myself… it has been an unexpected and dark journey… but I can see the light…” the emotional message reads.

“I am grateful to everyone who reached out to me and sent me good wishes and prayers… I have a lot of people to thank… You don’t know how much it has meant… I will thank you all personally… and In case you don’t know… GOD IS GOOD… All day every day…,” he added.

Until now, the illness that afflicted the actor in recent months is unknown. However, in a video posted on his social media, he revealed that doctors diagnosed him with paralysis, although he never suffered the symptoms. This process has taken him away from the cameras, as he wanted to prevent his followers from seeing his most vulnerable moments.

Jamie Foxx surprised his followers after posting a video to address his fans after overcoming a medical condition that led him to be hospitalized since April 11.

“I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates, but to be honest with you, I just didn’t want to be seen like that, man. I want them to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, telling jokes, making a movie, a television show. “I didn’t want them to see me with tubes coming out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it,” she maintained.

And he concluded: “If from now on you see me go out and tears come to my eyes from time to time, it is because it has been hard. I have been sick. But now I’m back on my feet, so you’ll see me active again.”

After apparent improvements in his health, Jamie Foxx returns to the screen with Back in Actiona comedy-action film directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses, Baywatch).

The plot follows a pair of retired CIA secret agents who are forced back into action for one last mission. The main cast also includes Cameron DiazGlenn Close, Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts and Rylan Jackson.

After working together on any given sunday and Annie Foxx confessed that he wanted to work with Díaz again. “A lot of people don’t know this, but after Cameron and I filmed together, we became friends in real life, and I’ve been begging her to come act with me again,” he said during his attendance at the Netflix Upfront 2024 event.
