One of the foreign actresses who has been remembered and who is very loved by Colombians is Geraldine Zivic.

The Argentine arrived in the country around 1992, when she became part of the production ‘Pasiones secretas’, demonstrating his talent for acting.

From there she participated in other soap operas, in some of which she obtained the leading role, such as ‘La mujer en el espejo’ in 1997, alongside Marcela Benjumea.

The last production in which the actress, a nationalized Colombian, took part is in ‘The substitute’, a soap opera that premieres today, June 28, on the streaming platform ‘Vix’, but it was produced by the RCN channel.

This being a suspense soap opera that deals with mental health issues, Zivic referred to the latter, recalling in an interview for the magazine ’15minutes’, a moment in his life that he had to face.

The series, which stars Majida Issa and Rami Herrera, was written by Julio Jiménez and Iván Martínez, which promises to take viewers into a world of intrigue and mysteries to be solved.

Zivic said in the interview that in At some point in his life he experienced panic and anxiety attacks and that he had to face them bravely in order to overcome them.

“I had never talked about this. Yes, I had a pretty complex experience, but I got through it. Fortunately, it didn’t take long. I think it was my inner strength that finally pulled me out and said, this is the way,” Zivic said.

The actress remembers that in those moments, fortunately she had the support of close people whom she considers ‘her angels’, who advised her. what was the path to follow, especially with respect to the intake of medications to treat these mental health problems.

Zivic said that although initially He took medications to be cured, he refused to continue taking them, because he believes that in order to heal from it he must go deep into his soul, mind and body.

“I do not wish it to anyone because it really is a despair that you can’t really imagine and that you think it happens to someone else and not to you,” said Zivic.

Thanks to the support of family and friends, she managed to overcome this stage and from that moment on she became a standard bearer to advise those who go through the same thing to opt for methods other than medications.

“There are other methods other than giving something chemical to the body to resolve something that is ultimately not chemical,” said the actress, who insists that it is possible to cure these conditions through natural and comprehensive alternative methods.
