A new record was set in Indian Premiere League on Wednesday as Sunrisers Hyderabad made 277 runs in one innings. The match has ushered in a new era in limited-over cricket where the possibilities have once again become enormous. Among all those who got to witness the carnage and storm of sixes were Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda and his brother Anand Deverakonda, who cheered for the team that had the final laugh.
Arjun Reddy star was seen wearing a black leather jacket even in the heat and humidity. On the other hand, Anand was dressed for the occasion in an orange full-sleeve shirt supporting his team Sunrisers Hyderabad. The camera caught the two brothers more than once during the match.
Anand shared the pictures on X and wrote, “What a match! “What entertainment!!!”
As Anand noted, the match turned out to be extraordinary entertainment as Mumbai Indians put out an immense fight in chasing the Himalayan score. The MI batsmen lost the match with a lot of grace as they came close to the target–they made 236 runs. In total, 523 runs were made in just 240 balls during the match.
Like SRH, Anand and Vijay Deverakonda are also having a great year as both have multiple projects in their line-up at different stages of production. Anand, after the great success with Baby in 2023, has Gam Gam Ganesh, Untitled AD7, and Duet in the pipeline. On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda, after a decent comeback with Kushi, is awaiting the release of Family Star, which has Mrunal Thalur in the female lead role.
