The Federation of Municipal Workers Unions of the Province of Santa Fe (Festram) reached an agreement with the representatives of the mayors and community leaders of the province for an increase of 18.5% for the month of March, set on salaries from January.

The meeting of the Municipal Joint Commission took place this Wednesday at Government House, and with this agreement (which represents a difference of 13.8% compared to February) and the minutes signed last month, the salary of municipal workers and communal has a cumulative increase of 53%.

This new agreed increase brings the amount of the guaranteed minimum out-of-pocket wage to $382,773.

Furthermore, this increase established in the minutes is remunerative and subsidized, and will be transferred to the passive beneficiaries of all the Municipal Funds and the Retirement and Pension Fund of the Province of Santa Fe, the union reported.

On the other hand, a school aid of $6,500 was also established, to be received with the March salaries, an issue that had begun to be discussed at the last meeting.

The parties also agreed to resume the salary discussion with a new joint table on April 17.
