The Ministers of Infrastructure, Rubén Etcheverry, and Government, Jorge Tobares, signed a collaboration agreement with different social organizations.

The provincial government moved forward today in signing an agreement that will facilitate the inclusion of cooperative workers in the execution of housing, improvements and minor works carried out in the province.

The initiative, which gives prominence to social organizations, will be channeled through the Provincial Directorate of Habitat and Urban Planning, dependent on the Provincial Institute of Housing and Urban Planning.

The Ministers of Infrastructure, Rubén Etcheverry, and of Government, Jorge Tobares led the signing of the agreement, which was also attended by the president of IPVU-ADUS, Pablo Dietrich, and the provincial director of Habitat and Urban Planning, Jorge Salas.

Representatives of the Popular Front Darío Santillán Corriente Plurinacional, Popular Front Darío Santillán, Excluded Workers Movement (MTE), Polo Obrero, Confederation of Workers of the Popular Economy (CTEP), Front of Organizations in Struggle (FOL), Popular Front Darío Santillán ( UTEP), Socialist Workers’ Movement (MST)-Teresa Vive and Front of Organizations in Fight Unity (FOL).

“From the State we are trying to link social organizations with the needs we have, not only in infrastructure and housing, but also with companies,” reported the Minister of Infrastructure, Rubén Etcheverry.

The official celebrated the agreement and invited all the cooperatives and highlighted the benefits of institutionalization that helps build “decent work.”

For his part, the Minister of Government, Jorge Tobares, indicated that “together with social organizations we continue working in the direction indicated by Governor Rolando Figueroa, prioritizing the generation of genuine work to give predictability to families and always based on dialogue.” .

“I hope that this is the starting point of a path to provide the answers that many Neuquén families demand and to be able to materialize what the Governor proposes to us, organize the state and redistribute opportunities,” he reflected.

Tobares praised “the predisposition of all parties” and emphasized that “in Neuquén we continue to bet on public investment, dialogue and job creation.”

After the event, the president of IPVU-ADUS, Pablo Dietrich, acknowledged that working with work cooperatives is not new and has allowed progress in certain infrastructure or complementary works. For his part, the provincial director of Habitat and Urban Planning, dependent on the IPVU, Jorge Salas, reported that on Monday they will meet with the cooperatives “to start working.”

The Provincial Directorate of Habitat and Urban Planning will evaluate the participation of the cooperatives proposed by the organizations in the contracts aimed at the construction of housing works, complementary infrastructure and various works (sidewalks, curbs, curbs, beaches, perimeter fences) and/or will collaborate to that these cooperatives can be service providers for other contractors.

It will be a requirement that cooperatives register in the State Register of suppliers of the province and fulfill the requirements to regularize their formal situation, respecting current legislation.
