The teaching and non-teaching unions, university students, and the authorities in Concordia from the UNER, UTN and UADER universities, attend the march in defense of Public Education.

The concentration in Concordia was in Plaza Urquiza.
The mobilization was carried out with the objective of raising awareness about the critical situation of national universities, the scientific-technological system and public education in general. The rally took place in Plaza Urquiza and from there, the protesters marched to the Plaza 25 de Mayo Gazebo, where a public awareness class was held by Professor Francisco Senegaglia, renowned professor, writer and historian. Accessions were also read, and a joint document in defense of public education will be presented.
The call was open to all citizens to accompany the mobilization and show their support for public, free, secular, quality education.
“I am in defense of public education, I am a big woman of almost 80 years old but I say present because we, a group of young people, started in college and so did my children,” commented one woman.
At the same time, a food engineering graduate expressed: “I graduated from the Faculty of Food, I am the first generation in my family to have a university degree and therefore I come to defend free public education. “We are all defending the same cause.”
From the organization of the march in Concordia they expressed that “this move is presented as an opportunity to join forces and express concerns about the challenges faced by public educational institutions and the Argentine educational system in general, based on the adjustment policies of the National government”.
