The General Directorate of Sports, of the Human Development Secretariat of the capital municipality together with the Jujuy Table Tennis Association (A.Te.M.Ju), organized a class open to the entire public on the courts arranged in the Park Xibi Xibi so that the residents of the sector can enjoy a day full of sport. In addition, the invitation was made clear for those interested to come to the Parque San Martín facilities to continue with the practice completely free of charge.

In addition, the invitation was made clear for those interested to come to the Parque San Martín facilities to continue with the practice completely free of charge.

In this sense, the General Director of Sports and Recreation, Cristina “Kitty”Conde, highlighted the joint work between the municipality and the Jujuy Table Tennis Federation so that the sport is known and that the neighbors are encouraged to practice sports, “We have been working together with the Jujuy Table Tennis Federation for five years, organizing activities that highlight this sport; in turn, on this occasion, refloating the tables placed by Mayor Jorge for the neighbors who enjoy the Xibi Xibi Park. In an emblematic place and where a large number of residents use the roads every day, the urban gym with a special detail that today was able to add a new sport.”

Regarding the development of the celebrations, he stated, “today marks a new anniversary of this discipline and we take advantage of this opportunity for residents to participate and learn a little more about this sport and fundamentally know that they can practice it in the facilities of Parque San Martín, where “We have teachers who teach classes for all ages and completely free.”

Finally, the president of the Jujuy Table Tennis Association (A.Te.M.Ju), Moisés Gallo, indicated, “today we are celebrating the International Table Tennis Day together with the Municipal Sports Directorate with the that we have been working for five years and that thanks to your collaboration in terms of space and equipment we were able to continue this sporting practice. People came up and asked about the classes and many were encouraged to try and the most important thing is that they have already brought great results to the province by bringing out representatives at the national level.”
