Habana Espacios Creativos will host, according to Chávez, the theoretical event Dance: urgent fringe of creation, which on April 27 will bring together choreographers and scholars of that manifestation, in order to discuss critical consciousness in the daily exercise of performing practices.

He pointed out that during Old Havana: City in Motion there will be master classes given by the national Dance Prize winners Johannes García, Isabel Bustos and Rosario Cárdenas, as well as other prestigious teachers such as Susana Pous, Dany Villalonga and Fabiola García.

The general coordinator of the event also highlighted the celebration of the XVIII International Video Dance Festival DVDanza Habana, Movimiento y Ciudad, which will be dedicated to the 10 years of the Dancing Technologies Creation Award.

In addition, the tresera and singer-songwriter Enid Rosales will offer a concert on April 28 at the Theater of the National Museum of Fine Arts.

Created in 1996, Habana Vieja: Ciudad en Movimiento is organized by the Danza Teatro Retazos company, the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana and the Havana Theater Center.

Since 1999, the event has been part of the Dancing Cities International Circuit, made up of countries from Europe and America.
