A prestigious jury awarded several awards during the closing session of the first Provincial Exhibition in the field of trade and investments in Sancti Spíritus

Deserving of the status of a National Vanguard collective for 31 consecutive years and with a clear culture of quality, the Sancti Spíritus Flora and Fauna Company won the ExpoYayabo 2024 Grand Prize, which was awarded by a prestigious jury during the closing session of the first Provincial Exhibition in the field of trade and investments in Sancti Spíritus.
As a culmination of the expo, which since April 25 has brought together a hundred economic actors with the purpose of fostering links between the business community, making products visible and agreeing on business, awards and mentions were awarded in three other categories: design and product quality , in which 23 contestants registered; image, communication and stand design, and business management.
In the first section, the popular cassava flour, the star product of the Jara MSME, received a mention, while the gold medal and prize for product quality was awarded to the frozen conch dough, presented by the Industrial Fishing Company of Sancti Spíritus, EPISAN.
In the category of image, communication and stand design, the mention went to the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Art, and the gold medal and award went to the University of Sancti Spíritus José Martí Pérez.
In terms of business management, a mention was awarded to the MSME Las Anitas and the award was given to the Raw Materials Recovery Company.
For its part, the MSME PC Master took the lead by winning the coveted popularity award, conferred through public voting physically and virtually.
During the award ceremony, the call for the second edition of ExpoYayabo, scheduled for next year, was opened, since the event demonstrated its effectiveness as a space for dialogue and negotiation, so that the people of Sancti Spiritus themselves can learn about the potential of his territory.
