“I am in the municipality of San Bernardo and from here I have asked the PCundinamarca police to carry out a thorough and prompt investigation in relation to the death of a teenager in a rural area of the municipality of San Juan de Rioseco. “This event puts Cundinamarca in mourning and saddens us,” explained the governor.
According to preliminary versions, the young woman identified as Sharit Juliana Mahecha Sanchez She left her house to school and hours later she was found near a ravine.
“I want to invite anyone who has information about this fact to call 314 358 7212. We will offer a reward of up to 10 million pesos to anyone who helps us find those responsible. We need justice for the victim and his family,” said the governor.
The murder of young Sharit has generated outrage in the municipality. On April 27, a vigil will be held in his name.
