Army troops in coordination with the National Police, developed a operation against drug trafficking, achieving in the last hours the seizure of more than 2.7 tons of marijuana valued at $1,085,000,000, in the El Tablazo district, in the municipality of San Juan del Cesar, La Guajira.

“Thanks to the work carried out by military intelligence and the National Police, with a search warrant, the location and capture of four subjects who had marijuana in their home and who would be prosecuted for traffic crimes, were achieved. manufacturing and carrying narcotics, and carrying, trafficking and manufacturing firearms, since they carried 2 shotguns without the respective safe-conduct permits,” says the Army.
Those captured and the seized war material were placed at the disposal of the competent authorities for the initiation of judicial proceedings.
