Mauricio Lambiris finished ninth in the standings Road Tourism at the autodrome The Pampa, scene of the fourth date of the season. The Maquin Parts driver chatted with Carburando and analyzed the details of Saturday, as well as what the race will be like with tire changes on Sunday.

“It was a good qualifying, it could have been a little better. We were left alone after I had to lift due to a teammate’s spin and it was very difficult for me to find someone to pull, I couldn’t find anyone to go in suction, so I had to settle for pulling alone, that complicated us a few tenths, I think the classification would have been a little better, but beyond that, it is positive. The engine worked very well and so did the Ford, so we have a great car for tomorrow,” commented Lambiris.
One of the aspects that the Uruguayan addressed was the reliability of the impeller, an aspect that was difficult for him. “The engine was going to hurt me, but luckily not today. Until now it allowed us to spin during all the laps in training and also in qualifying, let’s hope that tomorrow it will continue the same in the series and the final”, he indicated.
Finally, Lambiris referred to the characteristics of the upcoming special competition. “The race will be very changeable, it is a variant where the team plays a fundamental role and it is obvious that everything can change a lot after the stop. We have practiced it a lot, so I understand that everything would have to go well, but we will see tomorrow. I’m not saying it’s random, but anyone can make a mistake. If it doesn’t go as expected, you have to do your best to move it forward,” she concluded.
