Entities from Entre Ríos and Santa Fe proposed to accompany the promotion of the proposal, legislators, officials and institutions from both provinces present in those jurisdictions, in the formation of the tourist micro-region “Central Paraná Corridor”, under the slogans “one region, both shores, two provinces, an agenda”, and a formal interjurisdictional work space is generated.
A working table was held in the Municipal Council of the City of Rosario, between the entities promoting the project, the Rosario Historic Center Association (Santa Fe), the Victoria Commerce Center (Entre Ríos) and the Victoria Tourism Association (Entre Ríos), with legislators and officials from both provinces.
The proposal has antecedents. In 2021, in the post-pandemic period, the Rosario Historic Center Association carried out a regional survey that covered both banks of the Paraná River (from Rosario to Santa Fe and from Paraná to Victoria) with the intention of evaluating the possibility of tourist integration. of the micro region, due to the enormous potential it presents in terms of tourism, today strengthened with the new impulse of the Central Region.
Once the survey was completed, it was in the City of Victoria where ideas and proposals for the integration of the micro-region began to materialize, growing the idea of both provinces working together on regional development strategies hand in hand with tourism development.
The Historic Center Association, the Commerce Center and the Victoria Tourism Association have been working together, on different axes for regional integration, which will be put on the table for consideration by those present.
A discussion was held on the need to start thinking about regionalizing the tourism offer between the Province of Santa Fe and Entre Ríos on the Paraná River corridor, just as was done in the NOA, NEA and Cordilleran Patagonia, and can materialize a microregion within the scheme of the great central region.
