One of the most well-known and repeated figures of insecurity in the center of Cordova Are the lighters. With different strategies, this modality is reiterated daily in the busiest area of the provincial capital.

On this occasion, the protagonist of the robbery was a woman who was filmed by security cameras of a clothing store, located meters from the corner between Ituzaingó and Corrientes streets.
After 5 p.m., the thief entered the store and pretended who was looking at some clothes that were hanging near the entrance. As she continued her performance, detached a diver from its perch and left quickly from the place.
“My mother and my wife were at the cash register and, since the place is small, the woman took the opportunity to rob us. The clients who were in front gave us notice. We filed a police report, but well… It’s normal for lighters to be around downtown,” said the business owner in conversation with .
