Knowing your blood pressure levels and knowing about skin care were the two topics that most interested men and women who attended the Health Fair organized this Saturday by a private educational institution in the Plaza de Armas.
Lorena García, part of the organizing committee, explained that the Institute of Health Professionals of Querétaro, with a headquarters in San Luis Potosí, trains nursing staff, paramedics, podiatrists and cosmetologists and that a Fair is held at least once a year of Health of a totally free nature for the benefit of the population and also so that the students can share the knowledge acquired.
Over the course of four hours, services were offered such as taking blood pressure, applying vaccines against measles and Covid-19, a nutrition module, activities and games to learn about good eating and drinking, taking glucose levels, a cosmetology module and more.
In this Fair, held with permission from the capital’s City Council, 60 students, seven teachers, a coordinator and the governing body participated.
