At 2:00 in the morning, the lifeless body of Julian Rodríguez was left lying on the pavement. A blunt blow to the head caused his death.
The tragic early morning of this Sunday, April 28, also left Julian Andrés Rodríguez Casalla, a police officer who was only 26 years old, dead.
In the midst of the three traffic accidents that mourned Bucaramanga in the early hours of the day, this public servant also died when he collided with the separator of the exclusive lane of the Metrolínea, north-south direction, near Provenza.

According to the authorities’ report, the uniformed man lost control of his motorcycle, an FZ with DCJ3E plates, and collided with the lane separator.

Witnesses to the incident indicated that other motorcyclists also got into an accident while observing what had happened. Therefore, several ambulances arrived to attend to the multiple accidents that occurred in the early morning on the highway.
Added to the tragedy, an unusual event occurred. A street dweller, without remorse, stole the uniformed man’s belongings, including his identity documents. A colleague from the Police was the one who was in charge of recognizing the body when he noticed the ribbon that had his last name on it.

Relatives of the uniformed man have lamented this terrible event on their social networks. “Rest little brother, you left a big void,” said one of his loved ones.
