Deportivo Agua FC celebrates 74 years of life

Deportivo Agua FC, an institution with a long history and deep commitment to the community, celebrates its 74th anniversary this year. Since its founding, the club has been much more than just a football team; has been a light of hope and opportunity for countless boys, girls and young people in the city of Santa Fe. Under the direction of Alejandro Forni and Hugo Coronel, Deportivo Agua FC has left many memories and will continue trying to give continuity and support to a number close to 300 athletes of all categories participating in the Sanafesina League.

Deportivo Agua FC was founded in 1950 by a group of soccer enthusiasts in the town of Santa Fe, with the aim of providing a recreational and sports activity for the youth of the community. One of the most pressing challenges is the need, once again, for our own terrain to train and compete. Since losing its training venue at Esquina Encendida in 2008, the club has struggled tirelessly to find a suitable space for its sporting activities. However, today, with the support of local authorities and the community at large, Deportivo Agua FC is determined to overcome this obstacle and build a new home for the club.

Despite these challenges, Deportivo Agua FC continues to be a soccer club in Santa Fe, the community, providing opportunities and hope to children and young people of the Santa Fe soccer community.

One of the club’s main priorities is to secure its own land for its sporting activities. With a dedicated and adequate space, Deportivo Agua FC will be able to expand its programs and services, reaching more children and young people in the city and the region and providing them with a quality sports experience.
