Santiago Metro schedule, May 1 holiday in Chile: what time it opens, operating lines and until what time it operates

This Wednesday, May 1, a new Worker’s Day is commemorated in Chile. As always, the Metro will remain operational throughout the day, although with slight variations in the operating hours, since it is a day with a non-waivable holiday.

Most workers will remain in their homes or places of rest. However, some areas of the workplace will remain active and, probably, their workers will use the metropolitan railway to get around. Many people will also leave their homes for recreation.

Metro Schedule

  • Monday to Friday: from 06:00 to 23:00.
  • Saturday: from 06:30 to 23:00.
  • Sunday and Holidays: from 08:00 to 23:00.

This Wednesday corresponds to a holiday, so the Metro will begin operating at 8:00 a.m. and will end its operation at 11:00 p.m., with all lines running. Any change in the operation of the metropolitan railway, due to any circumstantial contingency, will be notified through the social media accounts of this public service.
