A private clinic in San Juan fired 30 workers and they say that other sanatoriums pay their salaries in installments

The crisis that the private health system is going through is not new, but it worsened with the delicate economic context of this year that put the sector on the ropes and, in the case of San Juan, it is already having an impact on the loss of jobs. according to what the unions report.

In this sense, it became known in the last few hours that a renowned clinic fired about 30 people from its stable staff and other sanatoriums are paying in installments.

Alfredo Duarte, Secretary General of ATSA, provided some details in an interview on Radio Sarmiento about the situation at the El Castaño Clinic. “When we had an assembly we had reached an understanding, there were not going to be layoffs and they were going to pay salaries accordingly,” said the leader, who was disappointed with the management leadership.

Duarte commented that, after the meeting with authorities, they were going to meet next Tuesday, however the layoff telegrams arrived.

“This comes from a long time ago, we have always said and we maintain it. There are rich businessmen and poor workers, this is the reality,” complained the head of ATSA.
