The regional councilor of Bío Bío, Diana González Catalán, was arrested in Concepción after being accused of attacking his sister and a police officer.
During the afternoon of this Tuesday, Carabineros personnel in the area responded to the call of a person who reported having been the victim of an attack.
Upon arrival they noticed that she was “visibly injured,” having nosebleeds. The victim of the attack identified that the aggressor was her sister, Diana González Catalán, who She serves as a regional councilor, member of the Ecologist Party.
Carabineros officials proceeded to arrest the accused. In that moment, a second corporal would have received a blow to his right arm by Gonzálezaccording to the police report.
Furthermore, the Bío Bío core would have reacted in an annoying way, highlighting the position they hold and ironically regarding the fact that the “purchase of the Carabineros vehicles were thanks to her”.
While the police officer was not injured, the sister of the regional counselor was taken to a healthcare center to verify injuries.
