An unusual and large robbery was suffered by a 55-year-old merchant who was drugged by a couple of strangers who approached him kindly in the commune of Algarrobo, in the Valparaíso Region.
According to the antecedents, the incident occurred after the victim put them in his car to give them a ride.
In dialogue with The San Antonio Leaderthe wife of the affected person explained that her husband “He left the house to look for me, because I have a business and he never leaves me alone, so when he left the old road of El Totoral, at the blue stop in that place, there was a couple. And since there is no transportation where we live, we have the habit of bringing people closer to the center”.
“He saw them where the road exits onto route F-90 and he put them in the car, he started talking to them, he asked them where they were going and where they were from, they told him they were from Santiago, and at that They offer him a sweet, a mint that was wrapped and he puts it in his mouth. and by the time he arrived at the center of Algarrobo, he remembers that he began to see everything blurry,” the woman added.

According to the aforementioned media, the victim ended up intoxicated and with 400 thousand pesos less in his bank accounts.
“When I found him he was totally drugged, he looked vulnerable, scared, he was gone, I didn’t know what had happened to him”added the wife.
Resigned to the crime, the couple approached the Carabineros and reported the incident.
