The Magdalena Assembly called for extra sessions for the approval of four projects

Among the projects that will be the subject of debate during these sessions, two initiatives stand out that have generated special interest and controversy: the Magdalena Development Plan and the debt quota.

Recently, the Government of Magdalena issued decree No. 310, through which it called extraordinary sessions of the Assembly for the period between April 30 and May 31 of this year.

The objective of the extraordinary sessions is to submit for study, debate and subsequent approval four draft ordinances presented by Governor Rafael Martínez, which address various topics to be discussed among the deputies of the department.

The ordinance projects to be debated are:

1. Draft ordinance: “By which the development plan of the department of Magdalena is approved for the period 2024-2027.”

2. “By which the governor of the department of Magdalena is authorized to modify the basic assignment of employment code 001, denomination governor, and his power to set the emoluments of the jobs of the central level personnel plant for the validity period is ratified. fiscal 2024.”

3. “By which a debt quota is authorized for the governor of the department of Magdalena and other provisions are dictated.”

4. “Through which additions, reductions, credits and counter-credits are made to the general budget of income, income and expenses of the department of Magdalena for fiscal period 2024.”

It is expected that during this period there will be extensive discussions and careful analysis of each of the projects presented, in order to ensure their viability and positive impact on the community. Collaboration between the Government and the Departmental Assembly is presented as a fundamental element to achieve the objectives set and respond to the needs and demands of citizens.
