In a match affected by some physical discomfort, tennis player ‘Pijao’ María Camila Romero advanced to the semifinals of the ITF J30 international tournament in Pereira, by beating Celeste Orozco with partials of 7/5 and 6/2.

John Bernal, technical director of the Tolima Tennis League, shared his impressions after the match: “The match was extremely complicated for Camila, especially when facing a local player, which influenced the development of the game. Despite this, she managed to overcome and emerge victorious.”.

In relation to the discomfort experienced during today’s match, Bernal explained: “María Camila has been immersed in several tournaments during the last three weeks, which has inevitably caused notable physical wear and fatigue.
