Óscar Sevilla has been a professional cyclist since 1998 when he began his career at Kelme in Spain. From there he went to Phonak, T-Mobile, Relax-GAM and Rock Racing. In 2011 he arrived in Colombia to continue his professional career as a cyclist in the Government of Antioquia EPM-UNE.
There he continued with the team that later took the name of EPM Tigo UNE Metropolitan Area and Today he runs, at 47 years old, for Team Medellín, a squad he joined in 2017. and in which he has won the Vuelta al Valle, the Community of Madrid, the Anapoima classic, the Vuelta a San Juan, the Vuelta al Ecuador, the Vuelta a Chiloé and the Vuelta a Bantrab.

Sevilla’s journey has been long and that is why he generates admiration among his younger teammates and friends like Egan Bernal who train with him and follow his advice. The Spaniard has won the Vuelta a Colombia three times and in addition, he was second in the Vuelta a España in 2001.
