This Friday, May 3, at 12:00 p.m., the Camilo Salvo Municipal Theater of Temucolocated at Avenida Pablo Neruda 01380, opened its doors to a new era of cultural accessibility.

Thanks to the collaboration between the municipality and the Temuco Cultural Corporation, the theater will become the first in Chile to adopt inclusive technologyensuring that all visitors, regardless of their physical abilities, can enjoy the cultural experience.

The project “Promotion of Inclusion for Cultural Participation«, will introduce several significant improvements.

Between them, braille signage throughout theateran interactive totem with relevant information about the shows and safety regulations, special glasses for people with light sensitivitytight-fitting hearing aids for those who have hearing difficulties, vibroacoustic bibsand tablets that will facilitate the transcription of audio to text.

In addition, the theater will premiere the «THEATER«, a space dedicated to more intimate and personal presentations, allowing a more direct connection between artists and public.

This new space It’s part of a broader effort to make art and culture more accessible to everyone.

This project promises to not only improve physical accessibility but also enrich the cultural experience of all visitors, ensuring that the Temuco Municipal Theater continue to be a space of meeting and enjoyment for the diverse community that surrounds it.

Admission to this inaugural event is free, inviting the entire community to be part of this historic moment in the inclusive culture of Chile.
