Avianca and Viva Aerobus announced an agreement that will allow their customers to fly with a single ticket for shared routes between Colombia and Mexico.

​This alliance, which is already operating, will allow Avianca travelers traveling from Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala or Costa Rica to connect from Ciudad de Mexico and Cancún with 28 cities in the interior of Mexico through the domestic operation of Viva Aerobus.

In turn, Viva Aerobus customers flying to Bogotá from the new Mexico City Airport (AIFA), Cancun, Guadalajara and Monterrey They will be able to connect with 23 domestic destinations operated by Avianca within Colombia.

​For example, a passenger leaving from the capital of the country bound for Oaxaca would take the following route: Bogotá – Mexico City with Avianca, and Mexico City – Oaxaca with Viva Aerobus.

In that sense, the luggage will be checked until the final destination with a single reservation.
