The administration of Bucaramanga has been emphatic in calling on the general population to comply with prevention measures and to report in time any event that may occur, The call is especially for populations living in high-risk areas.

The authorities have created various emergency committees in which they participate relief agencies such as Firefighters, Civil Defense, officials of the Risk Management unit of Bucaramanga where they are adopted urgent prevention measures, which are applied in different areas and communes of the municipality, especially where it has been detected that floods usually always occur due to heavy rains.
