Villa Cara Mechanical Plant Celebrates 60 years of its foundation
The Fabric Aguilar Noriega Mechanical Production Company, of Santa Clara, known as the Mechanical Plant, arrived this May 3 at six decades since it was founded by Che, in his capacity as Minister of Industries.

At the ceremony, Idael Hidalgo Cruz, director of that entity, referred to the technological reconversion that transcends the Foundry Workshop, and the installation of new equipment that increases its productive capacity.
Hidalgo Cruz, highest authority of the Mechanical Plant, highlighted that they work to maintain financial stability and production processes, aimed at prioritized sectors that substitute imports.
For his part, Osnay Miguel Colina, first secretary of the Party in Villa Clara, expressed that in the workers of the so-called factory of factories, the torch of technology that was lit here six decades ago continues to live.
