In the last hours it was known that A 17-year-old minor who was driving a tractor in the rural area of Tunja (Boyacá) died after falling from the vehicle and get caught by the plow of the machine.

The incident occurred last Friday, May 3, in the Runta Arriba neighborhood of the Boyacá capital.
According to preliminary information, the young man was working with the tractor when, apparently, he carried out a dangerous maneuver when checking the operation of the plowing system while it was still running.
The local newspaper ‘Boyacá Sie7e Días’ learned that The ruana he was wearing became entangled in the system, causing his death because the tractor went over it.
Upon arriving at the site, the driver of the tractor was found trapped by the plow, apparently after being entangled in the rake.
The young man, according to the aforementioned media, identified himself as Omar Julián Suárez Pineda and was born on March 6, 2007. He was a resident of the sector and carried out field work for planting.
The Tunja Fire Department reported that Omar Julián’s death was instantaneous. Red Cross and Police personnel also arrived at the point.
“Upon arriving at the site, the driver of the tractor was found trapped by the plow, apparently after being entangled in the rake by the ruana he was wearing,” reported the Tunja Fire Department.
