Three dead soldiers leave the intense fighting that has been taking place since Friday in the rural area of the municipality of Argelia, in the department of Cauca.

“We categorically reject the murder of three of our brave soldiers who gave their lives until the last moment for the defense and protection of the inhabitants of the municipality of Argelia, #Cauca. The offensive against the GAO-r E Carlos Patiño continues in the area”indicated the Army in account of X.
The murdered professional soldiers were identified as Camilo Molina Morales, Javier Sosa Ballesteros and Jorge Fuentes.
The fighting in Cauca has been going on for several days. Last Thursday three guerrillas were killed in that same area.
Likewise, also in rural Algeria, 15 suspected guerrillas were killed by the Army in combat on April 25.
