A terrible and macabre discovery occurred this Saturday in the city of Córdoba. They found a Dead body submerged in the north master channel. Authorities believe it is an 18-year-old boy who disappeared a few days ago.

The discovery occurred in the Los Bulevares neighborhood at noon. There, police personnel went to the corner of Costa Canal and De los Latinos, where they confirmed the incident.

Judicial authorities were alerted to what had happened and began the necessary investigations.

As indicated The twelveAt the scene were relatives of Axel Catriel Frías, an 18-year-old boy who has been intensely searched since last week in the Los Cortaderos neighborhood.

The body would be in an advanced state of decomposition and the relatives present were unable to identify whether or not it was Axel Frías.

Police sources indicated that the body’s torso was partially submerged in the water. Forensics will determine the identity after the corresponding studies.

Additionally, investigators saw what could be a possible burn on the dorsal region of the body. Although they have not yet been able to specify how it could have originated.

Relatives of the missing young man told the aforementioned media that they were still waiting for a court order to be able to go to the morgue to determine whether or not it is Frías.

“We as brothers were looking for him in the nearby fields, today we decided to go along the bank of the canal, we found a lot of stagnant dirt, dead animals and there was a dead person there,” said one of the boy’s sisters.

Axel was last seen on April 24, although the court case to request his whereabouts began on April 29.

The Prosecutor’s Office of District 4, shift 6, led by Dr. Jorgelina Gutiez, intervenes in the case.
