According to official government sources, the president and the businessman spoke in Texas about the importance of eliminating bureaucratic obstacles that keep investors away. “Musk emphasized promoting the birth rate in the world, emphasizing that the lack of population growth can be terminal for our civilization,” they explained from the Executive Branch.

The rapprochements between Javier Milei and Elon Musk, however, are not new: during the electoral campaign, before the presidential elections, they were mentioned repeatedly on Twitter.
In the run-up to the general elections on October 22, Musk described La Libertad Avanza as “a big change”, the deputy formally invited him to the country: “You are invited to return to Argentina next year if we win.”
Milei, in his capacity as president, has already formally invited the owner of Tesla and SpaceX, in what would mean the magnate’s first visit to Argentina.
