The Provincial Energy Company of Córdoba (EPEC) announced a massive power outage in more than 50 neighborhoods in the provincial capital for this Sunday.

The objective is to carry out maintenance tasks to “optimize” the networks for winter and the electricity restriction will last five hours, between 7 and 12 noon.

“They will be carried out maintenance tasks preventive measures at the southwest transformer station with the aim of optimizing the facilities to face the winter season,” the energy company said in a statement.
