They found the body of a miner that was buried by rocks in the San Rafael mine, Antioquia

A few hours ago, they rescued from the Nare River, the lifeless body of Luis Alfonso G., a miner who had been reported missing and who the authorities had been looking for since last Friday.

The discovery occurred in the vicinity of the El Topacio village in the municipality of San Rafael and according to what is known The miner’s body was extracted around midnight on Saturday, May 4.

Luis Alfonso disappeared in the middle of his work in an artisanal gold mine in the area, when he was buried by large rocks.

After this tragedy happened, colleagues and residents immediately notified the authorities to begin the rescue of the body, because due to the amount of rocks, the hopes of finding him alive were low.
