Uniforms from the Metropolitan Police arrived at a home in the Bellavista neighborhood, in western Cali, to capture two people, accused of being members of the criminal gang known as ‘Those in the hole’, dedicated to micro-narcotics trafficking.

According to Lieutenant Germán Manrique, the gang had conditioned the house as a bunker, whose walls were reinforced with solid concrete. Furthermore, the door was armored and reinforced with steel and “it was only opened once a week to change the dispenser, strategies with which They intended to avoid operational action of the uniformed men.”

“According to the investigation, this sales line sold up to 2,000 daily doses of narcotics, which gave them represented criminal proceeds more than 80 million pesos per month,” adds Lieutenant Manrique.

This action was carried out through four raids in commune 19, where more than a thousand doses of narcotics were seized.

Finally, he reiterated his call to report any criminal act to appear in the city.

“We invite citizens to report all types of illegal activity to continue affecting these drug trafficking networks and counteract the criminal chain,” concluded Lieutenant Manrique.
