Seven years after a serious episode of insecurity in the City of Mendoza, The Government recalled the validity of the offer of a financial reward for those who provide data and valuable information to clarify the fact.
The event in question was in the early morning of January 3, 2017, when one of the victims was approached at the door of his house, at 3000 Videla Castillo Street. A man arrived at his home around 1 o’clock and was attacked by a couple of motorcycle jets.
The subject pulled out a 9 millimeter pistol and pointed it at him to take money and his cell phone. At that moment a woman opened the door of the home, a situation that was taken advantage of by the criminal to enter the property. Meanwhile, her accomplice, a young woman, was left outside with the motorcycle.
Inside the home the thief sexually abused to the woman, a fact that the man tried to prevent. Given this, the aggressor hit him and shot him.
Thus ended the assault, with the couple escaping with stolen items and unidentified to date. The investigation did not progress over the years, so the Ministry of Security once again made a reward available for anyone who collaborated with the cause in order to find the perpetrators.
The offer is $3,175,000 and to provide information, interested parties must contact the Investigations Department or the Homicide Prosecutor’s Office.
