With a cloudy sky, Santa Marta recorded the hottest day of the year on May 7, with a thermal sensation that peaked at 47° during the afternoon hours.
According to @Iclimaalthough clouds loaded with water are seen in the capital of Magdalena, the absence of winds and the presence of Sahara Dust would be factors that increase the sensation of heat.
To date, this would be the day with the highest wind chill of the year.
At the same time, in the urban area of northern Magdalena there are some rains, as well as in the south of La Guajira and in the north of Cesar.

It is expected that during the night the chances of rain will increase by up to 70% in Santa Marta and its urban area.
