The discovery of a Styrofoam cellar with the dismembered body of a young man in the municipality of Fundación, Magdalena, continues to surprise and provoke different reactions in the country.
On the afternoon of Monday, May 6, the macabre event was known, and in a matter of minutes social networks were flooded with photos of the abandoned cellar in the middle of the road, the message with which they left it and also the strong images of the dismembered body. The man’s torso was placed inside a black garbage bag and abandoned on a public road next to the cellar. The head, both legs and arms were placed inside the Styrofoam chamber that was sealed with adhesive tape. On it they pasted a cardboard that read: “This is going to happen to all those who sell drugs and collect extortion.”
Shortly after, video from a security camera came to light that captured the precise moment when a motorcycle with two men threw the cava and the black bag on the road without stopping the vehicle. The second, a curious person came to see the contents of what was abandoned, and from there the circulation of the images began.
They identify the dismembered body
The authorities in that Magdalen municipality confirmed that the dismembered body belonged to the young Andrés Contreras, whom they knew as ‘Sasi’.
And although the identity of the murdered man is now known, there are still many unresolved questions about the crime.
