The governor Gerardo Zamora received this Tuesday in Government House the visit of 80 students belonging to educational groups No. 86,010 of Ramírez de Velazco, Quebrachos department; No. 86,036 of El Arenal, Jiménez department; No. 86,163 based at the Jorge W. Ábalos School in Los Telares and No. 86,166 in Varaz Cuchuna, the latter two located in the Salavina department.
The meeting took place in the Agreement Room “Juan Felipe Ibarra” within the framework of “Getting to know my province” program which since 2012 allows students from the interior who are in their last year of high school can visit and learn about tourist, cultural, sports places and institutions of the Capital city, Las Termas and Villa La Punta.
The president gave special thanks to the teachers of the students of these four groups, for accompanying the adolescents on this journey offered by this program, “Since there are many students from the interior, they have not had the possibility of accessing all the emblematic places that Santiago has as part of an educational trip”.
Also on this occasion he did a brief explanation about the organization of the provincial State and a review of the history of Santiago del Estero.
