Training strengthens productive associations in Yopal.

Four productive associations of Yopal were trained through the institutional articulation strategy between the Secretariat of Economic Development, Livestock and Agriculture and the Casanare Regional Sena, with the purpose of consolidating the associative model in the capital of Casanare.

The participating associations were: Association of displaced people due to the armed conflict in Colombia, Afro people and mothers who are heads of households; Agricultural Association of the District of Punto Nuevo – AACPN; Fish Association of the district of Punto Nuevo – Coopamucras and the Asomacana Association of Tilodirán, which received training in areas such as raising laying hens with alternative feeding to produce semi-Creole eggs, pig management, breeding and raising of broiler chickens with implementation of alternative feeding, good livestock practices, solid waste management in agricultural production, animal welfare and health in minor species, and preparation of alternative feeding for minor species.

The Secretariat of Economic Development, Livestock and Agriculture invites the productive associations of Yopal to come to its facilities located on Carrera 21 #30-55 to learn about the institutional strategies that are being developed to strengthen the local agricultural production system.
