The Entre Ríos Orchestras, Ensembles and Choirs program has been developed since 2012 in the province, guaranteeing access to this cultural asset to children and young people from 7 to 21 years old who wish to learn to read music and play an instrument individually. and collective.

The launch of the “Yaguarí Guazú” Children’s Youth Orchestra of Gualeguaychú, belonging to the program of Children’s and Youth Orchestras, Bands and Choirs of the Ministry of Culture of the Province of Entre Ríos will take place this Tuesday, May 7 at 3:00 p.m. at the Gualeguaychú Theater. Admission will be free of charge, until the capacity of the room is exhausted.

The name Yaguarí Guazú comes from the Guaraní expression that means “large yaguar”. The orchestral formation will be dedicated to wind instruments. The group will operate at the “Néstor Carlos Kirchner” Community Integration Center and will offer flute, double bass, violin and cello workshops.

In this framework, the following will be performed: Soriano Orchestra from Concepción del Uruguay, Romina Iturain Orchestra from Paraná and Discantus Choir from Concordia.
