The environmental authority coordinated a search with the team of veterinarians and biologists during the night of the same day, using drone technology equipped with thermal cameras. Despite these efforts, the specimen was not located. Additionally, a walking inspection of the area was carried out without obtaining positive results.
Subsequently, the corporation received additional reports of similar attacks on the same property, which have been exhaustively investigated and surveillance and tracking measures have been intensified in the area to guarantee the safety of the community.
“We remain alert and all lines of communication open to respond effectively to any situation that arises. Likewise, the community is called upon to report any sightings or incidents related to wildlife to the hotline, available 24 hours a day. “Citizen cooperation is vital to efficiently manage this type of emergency and guarantee the safety of everyone,” the entity said in a statement.
