The Departmental Development Plan “Nariño Region Country for the World” will be the economic, tourism, cultural and territorial diversity presentation letter of the Departmental Government before international cooperation organizations.
With the participation of social organizations, the business and productive sector, agriculture, culture, tourism and academia, the first technical table of international cooperation in Nariño was held, whose objective was to build strategic lines aimed at business and community development with the support of international organizations. .
On the path to the internalization of Nariño, Governor Luis Alfonso Escobar articulates strategies of brotherhood and international support with countries of the European Union, China, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, among others, that allow the development of the established roadmap in the Departmental Development Plan, seeking territorial transformation, the formalization of economies and community development, turning the department into a country region for the World.
Through the Office of International Affairs and Cooperation, showcase spaces and international business conferences are coordinated that make visible the tourist, cultural, religious and commercial offer that covers the 5 Worlds of the region.
