Mudallel continued in his presentation questioning the wording of the message, “the articles raise the prohibition of car washing on public roads, but it does not specify who, whether only car attendants or includes citizens, there are central issues that remain gray.” He expressed, and stated “although there is a regulation that stipulates days and times, the writing in that sense is confusing.” Likewise, he raised doubts about the moment to advance this measure, taking into account the social context in which we live today, “they forget about the marginality, exclusion and economic crisis that the nation, the province and the city are experiencing, “Prohibiting something that cannot be controlled seems more like a tribune expression than the search for a true solution to the problem,” he stated.
“We are convinced that this is going to generate more violence on public roads, because the prohibition of a task is being legitimized, but it is not specified how said impediment will be controlled,” said Mudallel, who had previously ruled in the same sense, “we want to know if any agreement will be made with the Ministry of Security”, and made his position very firm: “the ruling party does not make it clear how it will implement what it sanctions.”
Finally, to justify the abstention in the vote of the bloc he presides, he expressed his respect for the popular will and the flow of votes obtained by the current administration, “we know that we must be attentive to propose and criticize, but today it seems to us that this measure is hasty, taking into account that at the time assisted social parking (a policy proposed by the executive) was not well received by citizens and that there are more structural issues that should be prioritized.”
