Second day of the cessation of activities at the LOPE International Center for Clean Production, the apprentices supported by the workers continue waiting for the General Directorate of SENA, headed by Jorge Londoño, to make the decision to sit down with those who lead this process, where they vindicates rights won in the heat of the struggle, in 2008 in this center there was a solemn struggle against the government of that time, the general director Darío Montoya, who repressed all types of protests with the ESMAD and despite the stigmatization, The apprentices managed to provide resources for snacks from the general budget, for any apprentice a protein and a chocolate is not enough but in the LOPE the apprentices who have limited economic resources, this food is the possibility of being able to learn with a full stomach, also there are buses to transport them, a total of eight (8) daily routes, six (6) different routes, technical pedagogical tours were obtained, which are justified given that in our department industrialization is minimal and it is necessary for apprentices to be able to see other spaces which have also made it possible to find places to develop to the productive stage and bring new ideas to undertake, that in the courses where it is required, personal protection elements are given, since without them competencies cannot be developed where the life of the apprentices, another achievement is that the FIC scholarship is paid on time and to all those who are part of the construction program, money with which they support themselves since the majority come from municipalities other than Pasto.
As can be seen, these rights have been part of daily life in the training of the center’s apprentices and that only those who are in the facilities of the LOPE farm are taken into account, for this reason and knowing that in the government of the President Petro which we have helped to build, where from the south the process took place to reach the house of Nariño, today a director, Jorge Londoño, from the green party (by the way, very mentioned these days) comes to try to take away these rights from us, so As we have shown courage and total support for our president’s reforms, we also notify you Mr. Londoño that we are going to remain in cessation of activities for as long as necessary until the resources are delivered to be able to continue our training.
