DFSK. brand belonging to Seres Group, announced that it will launch this month the special edition of the Seres 3, its first electric SUV, a model that was on sale in our country, but only for commercial use and now breaks that barrier to also be available to individuals.
“This model came to Chile to participate in the Government program ‘My Electric Taxi’ and we chose to expand its offer to all audiences and thus contribute to promoting electromobility in the country, with the incorporation of a zero-emissions model, highly competitive and versatile,” said Carlos Cremaschi, Seres Group Brand Manager.
With this news, DFSK’s range of electrified vehicles is made up of the EC35 electric cargo van and the plug-in hybrid version of the 600 SUV, which will be marketed in the second half of 2024.
The 100% electric compact SUV stands out for its habitability and versatility. It measures 4.38 meters long by 1.85 wide and 1.65 high and has a wheelbase of 2,655 mm, while its trunk has a capacity of 310 liters, expandable to 1,247 with the rear seats folded.
In terms of design, the front grille stands out for its uniform pattern of small blue triangles on a black background, while the optical headlights offer a new internal structure, accompanying a hood whose ribs increase the muscularity of the design.
On the side, a floating roof and longitudinal lines that seek to emphasize the sportiness of the model draw attention.
Inside, padded surfaces and the amount of space available to leave all kinds of objects stand out, with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, synthetic leather seats and the infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple Car Play through a screen. 10.25”, to which is added a wireless charger and smart key, among other attributes.
In terms of safety, it incorporates complete equipment with 6 airbags as standard, ABS, Stability Control (EBD), 360º Backup Camera, Auto Hold system and 360º Backup Camera, among other elements.
The DFSK Seres 3 has an electric motor that delivers 163 horsepower and a maximum torque of 195 Nm. Thanks to this, it is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds and its maximum speed is electronically limited to 155 km/h.
Through a button located on the center console, the driver can choose between three driving modes: Normal, Eco and Sport.
The battery, for its part, has a capacity of 54.35 kWh, offering a range of 331 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle and can be recharged with alternating or direct current, with a power that reaches 11 kW in AC and up to 100 kW in DC.
Regarding the price, the DFSK Seres 3 will be marketed at a list price of $29,990,000, although it can go down with financing bonuses of $1,000,000 and brand bonuses of $2,000,000
